A warm welcome to The Raglan Suite
Situated in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, The Raglan Suite is a well-established dental referral practice in the North of England. We also accept new self-referral patients for our advanced treatments.
Over 400 dentists refer their patients to us
Established in 2001, our practice has been accepting dental referrals from across Yorkshire for almost 20 years. As a result of our reputation for excellent patient care, we enjoy long-standing relationships with a large network of dentists in the area. Over 400 dentists refer their patient to us.
Patients are referred to us for treatments such as dental implants, orthodontics and endodontics. We regularly treat patients with complex dental needs, and our experienced clinicians offer a comprehensive range of treatments.
Most of the patients we treat are referred to us by other dentists in the area, but we also accept self-referrals for complex dental treatments.

Modern technology and techniques
Our spacious practice has six treatment rooms. Each one incorporates modern dental technology, including digital X-rays and intra-oral cameras to aid diagnosis and patient education.
We also have an on-site CBCT scanner suite and dental laboratory and utilise 3D scanning technology to reduce the need for traditional impressions.
About our practice
Our practice is modern and spacious. You can expect a warm welcome from our friendly reception team upon arrival and can wait for your appointment in our relaxing patient lounge, which has Wi-Fi, complimentary refreshments and a range of magazines for your enjoyment.
Our practice is also fully wheelchair accessible.
Dedicated treatment plans and coordinators
We like to give a personalised approach to dental care to ensure you feel comfortable with each step of your journey. Our dentists will listen to your aspirations and concerns, providing a personalised treatment plan to meet your lifestyle and clinical needs.
We want to make sure your treatment is tailored to you, and that you fully understand the treatment plan you’re undertaking with us. That’s why we have a team of dedicated treatment coordinators who will be with you every step of the way. We have multiple non-clinical consultation rooms where you’ll be able to speak to them about your treatment plan.
Services for nervous patients
Our clinicians are experienced with caring for nervous patients. We understand that for some people visiting the dentist can be stressful, which is why we offer a calm and positive environment for your treatment.
Some of our clinicians have also completed extra qualifications around dental anxiety. For particularly nervous patients, we can also offer dental sedation, which puts you into a deeply relaxed state while you’re having your treatment.
If you’d like to come and look around the practice before having treatment, we’d be more than happy to accommodate you.

Finding our practice
Our practice is located on Raglan Street in central Harrogate. We’re just a four-minute walk away from Harrogate train station and Victoria Shopping Centre.
If you’re coming by public transport, there are plenty of local buses that stop in the town centre just a few minutes’ walk away.
If you’re visiting by car, there’s on-street parking available outside the practice.

Sharon Shaw

Rachel began dental nursing in 2012 and qualified in 2014. She worked at a practice in Harrogate for nine years before joining The Raglan Suite in 2021. She is keen to advance her skills and has a particular interest in aesthetics and dental implants.
Claire Shields
Claire joined The Raglan Suite in 2014. She began her career at her local dental practice in 2000, where she qualified as a dental nurse in November 2002. She later became a practice manager, which ran alongside her work as a dental nurse in 2009. After 14 years, she decided that she wanted to expand her knowledge, by working in a more specialised practice, which is when she joined The Raglan Suite. Claire’s job is to ensure the smooth running of the practice.
Lynn Nichols
After working as practice manager in a private dental practice in the North East for over 11 years, Lynn joined our team as business development manager in 2016. Lynn’s role at The Raglan Suite is to improve the patient journey through team training and development, along with looking after our referral practices.
Isobel Peters
Isobel is a qualified chartered accountant who worked for PWC for 12 years before taking a career break. She has worked with a range of businesses from large corporations to small businesses. Isobel is responsible for managing the finance function within The Raglan Suite, as well as coordinating and developing strategy.
Jo Robson
Jo has worked in dentistry since relocating to North Yorkshire from Norwich in 2002 and has been a member of The Raglan Suite team since 2016.
Jess Richardson
Jess is an experienced dental nurse who joined The Raglan Suite to focus on being a treatment coordinator. Some days, you might see Jess working on reception or even dental nursing if needed.
Angela Fishwick
Angela joined our team in 2017 but has worked in dentistry since leaving school at 16. She has worked as a dental nurse and treatment coordinator.

The clip system means that although the teeth are very secure and stable, they are very easy to remove for cleaning – you just pop it out and pop it in. It’s marvellous!"

Whitening can be an important part of a smile makeover. We always check the suitability of your teeth, as it may not be recommended for some patients with high sensitivity. It’s important to know that we may not be able to treat all of your teeth: whitening can’t alter the colour of fillings, crowns, veneers, for example. Your dentist can explain and suggest any options open to you.
We do understand that some people really struggle with dental treatment. But we have lots of ways to help put you at ease. Please just tell us how you feel and what worries you, and then we can work together to decide on the right approach.
Generally we recommend twice yearly check-ups every six months. However, this varies on a case by case basis. Your Bupa Dental Care dentist will talk to you about when and how often we need to see you.
