His interest in dental implants began in the 1993 and following advanced training in implants in 1999 Steve realised that this was the area of dentistry in which he wanted to devote the rest of his dental career. Since then he has concentrated on implantology becoming one of the country’s most experienced implantoligists. Steve is also keen to share his knowledge and experience with other dental professionals and regularly lectures throughout the country. He is also the honorary secretary and treasurer of the Association of Dental Implantology, a main board member representing Yorkshire for the FGDP Royal College Surgeons of England, Yorkshire Implant Study group host for the ADI and a board member of the British Society of Occlusal Studies.
